Congratulations on considering a bold move for building bridges of peace and creating a global neighborhood through grassroots connections. We look forward to considering your application to be a delegate on our journey to Kashmir.
Journey Dates: US delegates: October 2018 – tbd
Indian delegates: October 2018 – tbd
US delegates will gather in New Delhi by early evening on tbd. Our Indian delegates will join us in Srinigar in Kashmir by tbd and stay with us through the morning of tbd. US delegates end the Journey tbd so they can arrive in Seattle on tbd. (Note: Indian delegates are welcomed to join us in Delhi tbd and for last days tbd at additional costs of transportation, hotel and meals.)

Program Fees:
The project is fully self funded:
For Indian delegates: tbd. It is expected that delegates will provide their own transportation to and from Srinagar. There may be a few travel scholarships upon requests showing special needs. Please inquire. (Note: Indian delegates are welcomed to join us in Delhi, tbd, and/or stay beyond for a few days in tbdbut at additional cost to cover expenses of lodging, food and transportation).
For US delegates: Costs are estimated to be $3200 ; This includes all costs such as transportation, shared double room, most meals, program and project (but not airfare or visa; additional $95 for a few meals on your own; plus alcohol and personal purchases; possible entry fees for optional tourism – still under research!).
Costs will be finalized by November 15.
Schedule of payments due:
- $600 upon acceptance to guarantee inclusion in the program
- $1275 by March 30, 2018
- remaining balance by August 20, 2018 (or by special arrangement)
